Technique development and condition training through a noncompetitive program
Our Swim and Health groups (Sim och Hälsa) are designed to offer both technique development as well as condition training for children and young adults aged 9-18. There is strong emphasis on perfecting the basis of all four swimming strokes whilst developing stamina, flexibility and strength training both in and outside the water. Contrary to Utmanaren, the Swimopen section has a less competitive nature; it strives instead to provide an enjoyable and challenging program for all young swimming enthusiasts. It is important to note however that there is a degree of flexibility when it comes to switching between Utmanaren and Swimopen groups as we appreciate that the interest for competitive challenge may arise a little later in many young athletes.
